Mohamed El Banna, born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1955, has received a Master degree in Architecture in 1985. His interest in Arabic calligraphy started at a young age. He now creates his paintings through computer programs and signed them as limited editions of only 10 pieces. He participated in a number of individual and collective Arabic Calligraphy exhibitions. His paintings were acquired by many Arab embassies and Egyptian institutions and also individual holdings from Arab and foreign countries. He is a member of the Group of artists and writers “L’atelier” in Alexandria.
